Thank you! This story (and a few others) were in my working outline for Ianto's Journey, but as I wrote some things got added, others got removed.

This story just didn't fit in when I did a first draft so I put it away for a rainy day. I had to rewrite it a lot changing the tone from a real marriage crisis to a little blip in the relationship road. Maybe that's why it didn't work the first time around...it had more of a 'if you get a dog, we're getting a divorce (which is what my brother first told his wife when she said she wanted a dog).
