Have you done a final wordcount? A novel is generally 100K words long...

I liked the way that Jack's consciousness reset him back to a time when he was at his most vital. Though I did wonder why he tripped at the final moment. I just took it to be the final spark of life leaving the Face of Boe, like when just as you're about to fall asleep there's that lurch like you're falling. And even though he sees them, and they're all waiting for him, he doesn't reach them. Although he doesn't reach the light, does he? He's still in the dark.

Now you've got me to re-read, I'm not sure what the final paragraph means!?!?! ;-)
