Summary:  Ianto is trying to teach the alphabet to Myfanwy.

A/N:  I had several requests to continue the Myfanwy Alphabet Series - how could I refuse?  Remember, be careful what you wish for.

A/N2: I'm feeling a little giddy right now. I got carded at the grocery store tonight! Yeah, you want to buy some wine, prove you are over 21!  When I asked the cashier if he was serious he said he was. I couldn't decide whether to give him my driver's license or my AARP card. Seriously, The look on his face when he saw my date of birth - I so wish I had a camera!

 

 

“B is for bunny.” Ianto showed her a picture of a cute little rabbit.

 

 Squawk!  “Tasty Bunny,” Myfanwy thought.

 

“B is also for basket, blanket, and bear,” Ianto continued as he held up the flashcards.

 

Ianto placed three cards in a row for her to look at.  The first had a baby, the second pictured a bee, the third was a bicycle.  “Which object has more than one B in it?”

 

Myfanwy studied the pictures carefully.  She poked her beak at the bee.

 

“Good try, but the correct one is baby.”

 

Squawk! “Idjit! Bumble bee has three Bs. I win.”

I can see Ianto's problem here, even if he can't - he's still underestimating Myfanwy's intelligence. Maybe he should just give her a whiteboard and a marker, so she can explain his mistakes to him! All it would take would be for her to write Bumble Bee and underline the Bs and he'd understand that she's right and he's wrong (again)!

LOL, Myfanwy is a LOT smarter that even Ianto gives her credit for.

I too have always looked young for my age. Sixteen years ago I was dining out with my parents after we had just moved and the waitress asked me how I liked school here - I was 31 years old!

Glad you liked. Looking young has its ups and downs. Looking is young is nice except when you want to be taken seriously at work. I sometimes have to remind people that I am older than them.
