A/N: Written as a standalone this story could be viewed as a ‘Turn Left” story from my Ianto’s Journey verse (au). In IJ, Jack leaves with the Doctor and doesn’t return for several years. Ianto is devastated and eventually moves to London to be part of the newly constructed Torchwood One. This story would fit in at roughly Chapter 48.

What would have happened if Ianto had contacted John Hart instead of moving? Recall that Hart visited earth to seduce Jack away from Ianto and ended up seducing them both. Don’t remember? Another Good Day at the Vet

You may recall that about four months ago we had a major weight victory for Ida Star and Teddy Boo. http://aviv-b.livejournal.com/43700.html

Well, they had their annual visits today and more good news:

Teddy lost some more weight.   He's down to 12.75 lbs (from a high of 16.2 lbs)

Ida also lost a little more weight.  She's down to 9.2 lbs (from a high of 11.2 lbs)

The Vet says they both have Purrfect body scores!

Teddy had his usual pre-visit tranquilizer, but he was still very skittish. Ida marched out of her carrier put her butt in the air to let the vet know that he had permission to worship her beauty.

They had their three year rabies shots, and Ida will return to get her teeth cleaned in a few weeks. I was afraid that she was going to lose yet another tooth (she had gum/teeth problems when I adopted her which has led to numerous tooth extractions over the last 6 years).  But the vet is optimistic that the one tooth that's above some very red gum is OK. Poor baby, she only has 3 fangs and about 6 teeth left.
