There are canon stories, Ianto's Journey verse stories, stories that could be IJ stories (they fit into the general time line), other AU stories, team in their early years, team in their later years.

There are stories rated G through NC-17, and while they all have schmoop they also have humor, angst, hurt/comfort, porn, characters behaving badly but no character bashing.

Most major characters included - Jack, Ianto, Gwen, Tosh, Owen, Andy, John Hart, Rhys,  Myfanwy, but no Suzie, Tommy or Grey.

As for romance (or porn) there's lots of Jack/Ianto, several Gwen/Rhys, a couple of Tosh/Owen, even a Gwen/Owen and a Ianto/John Hart.

And as The Doctor says - "For once everyone lives." Tosh and Owen are alive and so are Ianto and Myfanwy, unless the story is set hundreds of years in the future.  Oh - and the events of CoE - they didn't happen.
