As many of you know, I’m pretty crazy about my cats Teddy and Ida.  This month is the 8^th Anniversary of their adoption.

During the adoption I met a very special person, Catherine, who was managing the shelter where I adopted Teddy and Ida. Catherine now runs a bully-breed advocacy group and manages a no-kill shelter outside of Chicago. She takes the hard cases; the ones that are put down at other shelters due to treatable illness or injury or are considered ‘too hard to adopt’. 

So in honor of Teddy and Ida’s Adoption Day, I thought this would be a good opportunity to let you know about her shelter and ask you to consider making a donation.
