Fireworks at Montrose Harbor

aviv_b_artworkThere were fireworks last night at Montrose Harbor which I can see very nicely from my apartment. So I thought I'd see how my camera's 'fireworks' setting performed. On still shots, not so good. The shutter time was long and I kept missing the shots. Now video, on the other hand, was much better. Took a bunch , but really, how much do you want to watch.
So here's the beginning (not much worth seeing after the 1:30 mark). I used max zoom here, which was almost too much at times.
and the end (stars around the :20 mark). I used less zoom here so I could catch everything.
Not bad for a little point and shoot camera.
Teddy has his skin back on and is sleeping on my desk. Ida is looking out at the window. We just had a sun shower, so I hope she'll let me know if she sees a rainbow.
