The Cubs have always been 'my' team. I'm younger than Steve Goodman, but I can remember cutting class like him and coming to Wrigley Field several times in high school to see my Cubbies. And when I was little, I wanted to be Ernie Banks. Not be like Earnie Banks but to actually BE Earnie Banks. Yes, I was one weird kid.
