About using humor in conjunction with 'darkness'
AE: Given the darkness of Children of Earth, are we going to see the sense of humor in the new series?
RTD: Oh yes.
JG: Absolutely. It's in everything Russell writes, whether it's something really, really dark or something lighter. It's always going to have that. In great adversity, people laugh.

RTD: That was funny. I'll always write like that. The new series is great. I mean, only the first episode is written so far, but there's very funny bits, very exciting bits.

In reference to the Jack/Jack episode:
AE: I think it's one of the most romantic episodes I've ever seen.
RTD: I loved the fact the original Captain Jack died the next day. I think it’s hilarious. I think he must have been flying his plane going “No, I’m gay! I’m gay!” Then he crashed. Gayness killed him.

WTF? He's joking right? For the love of god, tell me he's joking!  I'm not saying anything more cause some asshat is sure to tell me how its OK for RTD so say shit like this. OK by me. Have it your way, really.  It's fine.

Seriously, his continuous grandiosity is down right clinical. It's one thing to shamelessly promote your own shit, its an entirely different thing to believe it yourself. If his talent were half as big as his ego, he'd be a fucking genius.

Hey if you disagree - go and put an 'I love Rusty' post on your own blog. But really, I am so not interesting in hearing on how terrible I am for not loving the Rusty.

And yeah, if you aren't on my friends list I'm screening your comments, cause my tolerance for nutfuckery is pretty low at the moment.

And double yeah, if he dares imply anything OK about pedophilia (along the lines of - well the victim wanted it, was almost of age, or anything else a la History Boys) I will personally raise a tsunami of a shit-storm with every child protection group, media watchdog, left wing, right wing, no wings I can find. Cause some lines shouldn't be crossed, even by the great RTD.  And no, I don't trust him any further than I can throw him.
