It's Hot, Hot, Hot!

Its going to be in the nineties today and most of next week. Oh joy! After pilates, I'll be inside today cause that's just too hot for me. I'm just finishing up the Redismycolor story (I didn't like the ending so the extra week gave me time to rewrite it ...again, LOL). And I started a Myfanwy crack-fic (you're shocked aren't you).
I saw the hand specialist this week and I have cubital tunnel syndrome and median epiondylitis which is a fancy expression for golfer's elbow. Golfer's elbow. Scotland. I'm seeing a pattern. Quick call TW - its a worldwide conspiracy! People are waking up all over the world with this condition, while Jack's handicap has been cut to 2 strokes. (Sorry, couldn't resist). Surgery is not recommended (yay!) and I have some stretching exercises to do and an elbow pad to wear (its itchy, I don't want to, ok I'm trying to).
I finally, actually, went on a bike ride early yesterday morning. If the cats wake me at 6:30 AM, I might as well take advantage of it. There's always napping - which we all did yesterday afternoon. I only rode twelve miles. It wasn't as terrible as I anticipated (yeah it's July and it's the first bike ride of the year for me). I don't think I'll be doing any serious riding this summer given my late start. Still it felt good to get a little aerobic workout. Only problem is the stress put on the ulnar nerve from leaning on the handlebars is probably not a good thing.
Kitties are fine. Ida made me laugh yesterday. I'm trying to keep the house bearable in the heat (I have air conditioning but on really hot days, it struggles) and she's wrapped around my computer modem napping. MMMMM.....warm.
Today I'm going to work on my Scotland pictures. A bit of cropping here, a little color adjustment there...the usual photoshop stuff. I have several vids waiting to be watched - maybe I'll get to one of those as well.
Stay cool!
