“Getting killed at Ellis Island and then coming back must have been a shock.”
“You have no idea. And it got worse. Not long after, I was betrayed by a lover to people who used my immortality for evil purposes.”
Ianto’s face fell. “Just like I did.”
“No, nothing like that. You never betrayed me; you did it for love. This guy was a rat-faced bastard from the start. Don’t know what I ever saw I him.”
“A warm body?” Ianto teased.
“You got me.”
“And I’m never letting go,” Ianto replied.
