“I never realized how scary children’s stories are,” Gwen said, “until I bought a book of fairy tales for Anwen.”
“I was terrified by Snow White,” Tosh said. “Wouldn’t eat apples for a month.”
“My Mam read Peter Pan to me, Ianto added. “I was terrified of alarm clocks for a week.”
Owen grimaced. “Flying monkeys. I had nightmares for a long time after watching that movie. Sometimes I still do,” he admitted.
“Good thing there aren’t any monsters in the real world,” Jack deadpanned.
It took a moment for the team to understand.
“Not funny.”
“Pisho bant.”
Jack smiled.
