Here are the 'rules':

Go to page 7 or 77 of your latest work. Read down to the seventh line and then post online the next seven lines or sentences. Then head off and tag seven more writers.

There's just one small problem. I got nothin'. Meaning nothing 7 pages long let alone 77 pages long.

So instead I counted off my vacation pictures I've been working on to number 77 and then number 154 etc. They aren't my best - but here's what came up:
Two Weeks in Belgium & Holland in Eight Random Pictures

Well here's a cheerful start
The Death of Marat - from the Royal Museum of Fine Art

Brussels - making artisan chocolates - yum!

St. Julien Memorial - to Canadian Soldiers killed in the 2nd Battle of Ypres

Beach on the drive to Zeeland

Keukenhof Gardens

Red light district of Amsterdam

Ark of the Great Synagogue in Amsterdam (now a museum)

Amsterdam - Bicycle in the canal.

There you have it - two weeks of pics.
Not tagging anyone - cause I think my flist has all been tagged already.
Time to go out to see the Gay Pride Parade - I have some friends at the beginning of the parade this year - so I want to get pics of them at least.

I wasn't going to do it. I wasn't.

"Pick up the book nearest you. Turn to page 45. The first sentence describes your sex life for 2012".

I didn't have a book with me anyway.  But I have a magazine. So I'll just peek.

Drum roll: In terms of intimacy, a high-speed quad chair is more Vegas buffet than candlelit table for two.

Since I don't ski, I guess I won't be meeting my special someone on the bus this year. Or I will, but they will be cheap. Or I'll have a veritable buffet of people to choose from. Or something. I don't know.

From February 2012 Outside Magazine, 2012 Editors' Choice (This We Like) #41 Double Chairlifts

I stole this from  xrai_namere. Not surprisingly I sound like someone from the Great Lakes region. And I did live in Western NY for a number of years. BTW - its milk, not melk.

Meme snagged from [livejournal.com profile] a_silver_story

1 - Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar (picnik.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together.

5 - Post it with this text as a header and TAG the friends you want to join in.

Not going to tag, but here's what I got.

Not bad for a item of clothing for sale and ......a Tony Blair quote of all things.

Take Which Doctor Who companion are you? (girls) today!
Created with Rum and Monkey's Personality Test Generator.

You're Sarah Jane Smith! The intrepid girl reporter, you invented spunky. You never rest in your relentless pursuit of what The People (and you) Want to Know, and have a profound sense of justice. You are cheerfully incapable of following orders, and have a very individualistic sense of style--much like the Doctor himself. It's no wonder you two get on so well, even if his absentmindedness makes him a bit of a handful sometimes.

Yep, that's me!

FAVORITE RESTAURANT?
Marcello’s – its Italian but they also have the best broasted chicken.

90. DO YOU LIKE SUSHI?
Yuck – all my animal based food must be dead and cooked.

91. WATCH TV TODAY?
Not yet. Probably won't.

92. FAVORITE DAY OF THE YEAR?
First night of Passover. Seder is always at my house and it’s my favourite holiday. And I love making all my grown-up guest search for the Afikomen. And they have to if they want prizes. Did great Jewish action figures last year (Freud, Jesus, Moses, Houdini, Einstein, and a crazy cat lady (hey she looked Jewish to me).

93. PLAY ANY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS?
Guitar – surprisingly well at one point, piano – mediocre at best.

94. REPUBLICAN OR DEMOCRAT?
You have to ask? I’m a 4th generation Chicagoan. When I was born they stamped DEMOCRAT on my ass and I’ve never been able to wash it off.

95. KISSES OR HUGS?
Hugs, hugs and more hugs. Not that I don’t like kissing….

96. RELATIONSHIPS OR ONE NIGHT STANDS?
Probably something in between. Not into hooking up with strangers but not looking for anything long term.

97. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU BOUGHT?
Went to Target over the weekend and spent over $150 on cleaning supplies, drugstore type stuff.

98. WOULD YOU EVER BE A HOUSEWIFE?
What the hell is that?

99. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING?

Just finished Crescent and Star: Turkey Between Two Worlds, by Stephen Kinzer, I have a couple of mysteries I haven’t had time to read so I’ll probably grab one of them next.
